NEW SUNDAY/MONDAY BIBLE CLASS

In what ways is the example of Paul, “the chief of sinners” a great comfort to us? What must always be the goal of our exposing and opposing false teachers in this world? Why is prayer for our government so important? Should the church get involved in elections and legislation? How does our Lord view feminism and male-chauvinism in our world, in our church, and in our family life? If women have been given the right to vote in elections and to serve as elected officials, shouldn’t they be given those same two rights in our congregation? What are the Savior’s qualifications for those who serve him in the public ministry? How can every Christian guard the treasure of the Gospel which has been entrusted to us? These are some of the questions we will be taking up in our Bible Study on the apostle Paul’s first letter to young Pastor Timothy. It is entitled:

“FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!”
We will search the Scriptures and center on these three parts of this inspired pastoral letter:

Part 1: “Oppose Those Who Teach Falsely!”
Part 2: “Instruct And Guide God’s People In Worship, Faith, And Life!”
Part 3: “Be A Pastor To All Kinds Of People!”

We pray you will make this Bible Study hour with your fellow Christians at St. Matthew’s a regular part of your Sunday morning routine. See you there!
