Announcements This Week

Our Thursday Evening worship services
will resume April 8th, 6:30 p.m.

Bible Class Sunday morning will continue
at the usual time slot, in the fellowship hall.
Study currently is "Book through the Bible"

LWMS Mission Offerings
Mission offerings can be given to
Ann Janke at church or mailed to Ann. Checks should be made
payable to St. Matthew’s Evening Guild. They need to be sent to
our Rock River circuit treasurer by April 13, so please have your
mission offering to Ann also by April 11. The mission projects that
were voted on by the circuit at the fall rally to contribute to at this
time are India Children’s Homes (World) and Vans for Missions (Home).
Please continue to pray for the spread of the Gospel through our
WELS missionaries and mission opportunities!

The new Mediations are available for purchase on
the counter in the Narthex. Cost is $4.00 and checks can be made
out to St. Matthew’s Evening Guild.

LWMS Save the Date
The LWMS Spring rally is scheduled for
Saturday, April 24 at St. Mark’s in Watertown. The schedule for
the 1⁄2 day rally includes registration and morning refreshments
from 8-9 a.m.; devotion, mission presentation and business
meeting from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and lunch (per Covid
guidelines) at 12:30 p.m. The featured guest speaker will be Ruth
Schmitzer, who will be speaking on Nepal and our WELS mission
work there. Please consider attending the rally to learn more
about this ministry in WELS! We will need to RSVP a head count
to the ladies at St. Mark’s, so please either sign up on the sheet
provided in the narthex or call Ann Janke (608) 563-4383 by
Sunday, April 11.
