Emily Fleming was born on April 1st in Burlington, Wisconsin. She attended St. John's Lutheran Grade School and Burlington High School before graduating from Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee. She received her master's degree in Literacy from Concordia University in Mequon. She taught 3 years at Salem Grade School in Milwaukee and then 14 years in the Clinton School District.
Mrs. Fleming met her husband, Scott, in 4H. Scott is a farmer and a soil scientist. They have two kids, Owen and Mason, both attend Lakeside Lutheran High School. In her free time, Mrs. Fleming enjoys reading, actively participating in 4H and livestock showing, and when she has time, she likes to crochet.
Mrs. Fleming's favorite bible passage is 1 Peter 5:7 - "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you."
